Story
The Mooigoed Design journey started in 2013 when we opened the doors of our little shop in The Lookout Centre, Plettenberg Bay. We are a team of creative individuals who love to design and create beautiful fashion jewellery.
I am a wife, dog Mom and living my dream life in the countryside. A good cup of coffee daily is essential, I love to bake, my happy colour is yellow and my current best read is The Four Winds by Kristin Hannah. My favourite quote? “If grace was an ocean, we are all sinking”

Team
Beverly joined the brand in 2018 and has become an integral part of the journey. With no previous experience in jewellery design or manufacturing, she quickly picked up on this skill. She is now responsible for almost 70% of the manufacturing of our jewellery ranges! And she is also the friendly face who will welcome you in the shop.
In 2022 Shardi joined the team! She had huge shoes to fill while Beverly went on maternity leave. Shardi fitted in so well with the team, that at the end of Beverly’s maternity leave period, I could not let her go! We shuffled things around between the studio and the shop, and both Beverly and Shardi continued their journey with the brand.
I am so super blessed to have Beverly & Shardi by my side. Their support, kind words and endless chats (with good coffee!) means the world to me!
On your next visit to the Garden Route, pop it at our shop in Plettenberg Bay – we love to meet new faces! Our shop does not only overflow with a huge jewellery selection, but we are also proud stockists of Angel Wings Ceramics, good Clothing, Hello Soap, Nonna Living, Tangible Scarves & Thandana.
It has been a blessed 11 year journey thus far and I am so humbled and grateful for all the love, support and kind words we’ve received over the years from clients and suppliers.
